You Don’t Need a Guru. You Need Someone Who’s Been There.

Dr. Kevin Cameron

PsyD, MA, LMFT, CPTT, AAT

I’m Dr. Kevin Cameron. Combat Veteran. Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Executive Coach. Author. Educator… and probably the only licensed therapist you will find with a Purple Heart.

I’ve spent over 3 decades helping people navigate high-pressure environments, rebuild after trauma, lead with integrity, and thrive under fire—both literally and figuratively.

After multiple combat deployments and years of clinical work, I realized that the people who look “fine” on the outside are often the ones hurting the most, because they don’t want to be seen as weak, especially Veterans, professionals, and couples holding everything together on the surface.

That’s who I work with: the ones who lead hard lives and want more than surface-level solutions.

My Philosophy:

Collection of icons representing communication, analysis, planning, and organization, including gears, a checklist, a speech bubble, a megaphone, an envelope, a graph, a document, a cursor, and a briefcase, with a large yellow check mark in the center.

You’re not broken. You’re adapting.

  • Therapy shouldn’t feel like punishment.

  • Coaching shouldn’t feel like fluff.

  • People deserve Direct & Honest.

I offer a direct, practical, and culturally competent approach that respects where you’ve been and focuses on where you’re going. Whether you’re looking to get unstuck, reconnect, or lead with more clarity—I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward fast.

Outside the Office

When I’m not working with clients or building Veteran support programs, I’m probably training working dogs, speaking at a conference, spending time outdoors, with my family, or engaging in other crazy hobbies.

I believe leadership isn’t a position—it’s a lifestyle. And that includes how we show up for the people who matter most.
